FIBERMESH® MICRO-REINFORCEMENT
Batched at the ready-mix plant with other mix ingredients, millions of FIBERMESH® virgin polypropylene fibers are distributed uniformly throughout the concrete mix. After concrete placement, as micro-cracks begin to develop in the concrete due to water loss and shrinkage, the micro-cracks intersect with the FIBERMESH® fibers, which block their growth and provide higher tensile strain capacity at this critical time.
