Schmitz Ready Mix is always looking for new, innovative, and creative ideas for making our company better.  Employee suggestions are taken very seriously and can have a large impact on our work environment and our ability to better serve our customers.

BIG IDEAS are welcome … but suggestions for small improvements are also encouraged.  Since everyone in our organization works either with or for our customers, everyone’s ideas are important, indeed vital, to our company's continued success.

General Instructions for Using This Online Suggestion Box:

Thank you for your willingness to share your ideas for helping Schmitz Ready Mix to maintain its competitive advantage in Southeastern Wisconsin’s highly-competitive ready-mix industry.  All ideas for improving our company are welcomed.  We are especially interested in suggestions for improving safety or working conditions, enhancing customer loyalty, increasing productivity or market share, eliminating waste, or building company revenues.

Don't worry if you cannot provide all the information requested below.  All suggestions will be reviewed and evaluated equally.  However, the more information you can provide about your idea, the better it can be reviewed and acted upon.

Specific Online Suggestion Box Instructions:

• Please submit each suggestion you have in a separate email.
• Include the phrase “Employee Suggestion” in the email subject line.
• Make your email as long as you need to explain your idea.
• Avoid using abbreviations; spell out names, product brands, and industry terms.
• Describe your basic idea, if possible, in 20 words or less.
• Explain why your suggestion is important and what it will accomplish.
• Demonstrate who will benefit from your idea and how they will benefit.
• Share how your suggestion will impact or affect Schmitz Ready Mix customers.
• Describe what resources will be needed to implement your suggestion.
• Offer ideas on how the effectiveness of your suggestion can best be measured.

Confidentiality Option:

At your option, upon receipt of your suggestion, your name will be removed, along with any other information that might reveal your identity.  Employees who want, for whatever reason, anonymity for their idea must specifically request this confidentiality option in their email suggestion.
